We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join our EFW client in Bridgwater.

Permanent Role

Monday to Friday

08.00 - 16.00

£65,000 however, negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing and directing a team of mechanical, electrical and C&I technicians to ensure minimum plant downtime and maximum availability
  • Planning and executing plant shutdowns/outages
  • Managing the department's maintenance budget
  • Oversee the management of the maintenance schedule
  • Develop and maintain records of plant maintenance including work orders, PPMs and planned and unplanned outages and inspections
  • Overseeing on-site contractors
  • Deputising for the Plant Manager when required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance/engineering in a relevant heavy process industry, ideally power generation but industries such as chemical production, aggregate or similar
  • Practical understanding of boilers, steam generation, pressure parts and associated equipment
  • Experience with managing a team/department budget
  • Experience in a management or supervisory level role
  • IOSH or NEBOSH would be preferred but isn't essential.
  • MUST HAVE power generation/biomass/EFW background
