Software Engineer (United Kingdom)

Contract Role – Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/Angular)

Rate: £550-600/day Outside IR35

Location: Remote within the UK

Length of contract: 3 Months

Start date: Immediate Start

We’re helping a fast-growing HR tech platform hire a strong, independent contractor to join their core engineering team for an urgent project.

About the Role

This is a 3-month, fully remote contract (approx. 60 working days). You’ll be joining a small, agile team with minimal documentation, where you’ll be trusted to deliver without micromanagement or hand-holding.

Tech Stack

• Node.js with TypeScript (ideally using NestJS)
• Angular (Frontend)
• GraphQL
• MySQL
• AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
• New Relic for observability
• Caching and performance tuning
• Secure coding practices are a must

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years building resilient microservices at scale
• Proven experience in high-performing product/tech environments (no outsourcing backgrounds)
• A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Available to start immediately
