Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our manufacturing team in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating our security inspection products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional and performance testing on security inspection systems. Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing process. Document test results and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Assist in the development and implementation of test procedures and protocols. Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements. Operate large vacuum bakeout ovens and vacuum equipment. Perform final assembly processes, testing X-ray tubes, and high voltage tube conditioning. Reporting Line: Reporting to the Process Engineer, the Production Technician will play a crucial role in the processing, final assembly, and testing of X-ray tubes for incorporation into RTT scanning machines. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Test Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills. Relevant technical certification or diploma is preferred. Shift Details: Willingness to work shifts from 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
