Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Oxford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop, conducting servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of heavy goods vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to a high standard.
Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs.
Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements.
Work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
Keep accurate records of all work completed.
Collaborate with the workshop team and fleet managers to ensure smooth operations.Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
