We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our client in Aycliffe on a 6-month contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity, working within a Global Organisation. They are looking for someone who is multiskilled with proven experience in manufacturing.
Location: Newton Aycliffe, County Durham
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Working hours: 39 Hours worked Monday to Friday on a 3-shift basis
Hourly Rate: £21.96 Per Hour
Duties will include:
- Working to assist in any machine failures on the day to day running of the machines.
- Finding out any issues with the machines and fixing them accordingly.
- Assisting in scheduled machine shutdowns to make sure all are running efficiently.
- Provide production line support in line with company goals and objectives.
- Track and report process improvement results.
- Analysing data to fault find and develop prioritised improvement plans for the platform.
Personal Specifications:
The successful candidate will have experience within a Manufacturing, Maintenance environment, with experience of Vision systems (cognex), Rockwell PLCs and software, Servo Drive Control, Inverter Drives and Ultra-Sonic Welding. Served a recognised apprenticeship or have an HNC Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification.
