Demand Planner – Beauty
North London – hybrid (2 days in, 3 from home)
Up to £38,000 dependent on experience
Blush & Bloom are looking for an analytical and results-driven Demand Planner to join a growing beauty business in North London. You’ll be at the heart of forecasting demand, managing inventory and ensuring customers always have access to the products they love! Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using market trends, sales data, and promotional insights.
- Monitor stock levels, sales performance, and market demand to optimise inventory.
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts with business goals.
- Analyse the impact of promotions and seasonal trends on demand.
- Implement and refine statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.
- Provide insights on product lifecycle planning, from launch to phase-out.
- Generate reports and dashboards to inform key stakeholders.
- Identify and drive process improvements in demand planning.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a similar role within beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, forecasting tools, and ERP systems.
- Understanding of statistical forecasting and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of beauty industry trends and consumer behaviour is a plus.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- Additional certification (APICS, IBF) in demand planning or supply chain management is a plus.
