Location: Elsyng House, 1 Forty Hill, Enfield EN2 9HT

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Shift: Days

As a Chef, you will support the Head Chef in managing our fast-paced, state-of-the-art kitchen. The successful candidate will work alongside the Chef and kitchen team to deliver food of the highest standards and will have opportunities for career progression.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure excellent service at all times.
• Follow care/support plans respecting the nutritional needs of each individual.
• Prepare nutritional snacks for residents as required and directed by the Registered Manager.
• Ensure prepared food is of excellent quality, palatability, and presentation.
• Work closely with the Head Chef.
• Manage stock control, replenishing and ordering supplies.

What you need to succeed as a Chef:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ideally 2 years catering experience.
• Awareness of regulations.
• Knowledge of therapeutic and textured diets is advantageous.
• Experience in delivering high-quality service as a Chef is essential.
• Ability to work with a structured menu while maintaining creativity.
