Our partnering school in Ipswich is looking to appoint a skilled, empathetic, and motivated Pastoral Support Manager to play a central role in the wellbeing and personal development of our students. This is an exciting opportunity for a caring professional who is passionate about supporting young people and has the experience, resilience, and commitment to help students overcome barriers to learning.
As a Pastoral Support Manager, you will be part of a dedicated pastoral team responsible for managing and delivering high-quality care and guidance to students across all year groups. Pastoral Support Managers at this school are also responsible for ensuring that students’ safety by ensuring all are in class and to monitor the behaviour of students.
Initially, this Pastoral Support Manager role is on a full-time contract basis, with the opportunity to become permanent through the school after 18 weeks.
Requirements
- Have experience working with students aged 11-18
- Good GCSE and A-Level grades desirable
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required.
