ABOUT THE ROLE
- Supervise the Spa Therapists, Spa Concierges and Spa attendants with support from the Health Club and Spa Manager.
- Be responsible for all aspects of training of the Spa Therapists.
- Ensure the Spa Concierge have good product and treatment knowledge and are able to retail and book a variety of treatments.
- Be fully aware of the treatment menu and product knowledge, working closely with our product houses and our own Chuan brand.
- Carry out treatments on a daily basis.
- Inspect and ensure all treatment rooms and spa areas are set up according to standards at all times.
- Maintain clear lines of communication within the Spa and the hotel in general.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a similar position and environment with a firm understanding of excellence in customer service.
- Spa/Beauty qualification at NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (a professional background in beauty therapy and a Spa/Beauty qualification in CIDESCO/CIBTAC/ITEC is desirable).
- Certification and experience in Swedish, Deep tissue, Pregnancy Massage, as well as Facials and Electric Facials, is essential.
- Qualifications in Reiki, Reflexology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Lymphatic Drainage - desirable.
- Passion for training, developing and inspiring others is key.
- Ideally knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and the 5 elements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great presentation.
- Warm and caring attitude towards the health and well-being of guests.
- Drive to work towards targets in treatment and retail.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Good time management and organisation skills.
