Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charity who are looking for a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker. Within your role, you will be contributing to the transformation of lives within a leading charitable organisation in Harrogate. As a dedicated Recovery Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing compassionate care and structured support to individuals striving to overcome addiction. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe and nurturing environment, enabling service users to regain control of their lives and embark on a path to recovery. The working hours for this role are Mon-Fri 9-5 depending on your preference.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by substance misuse. A background in health or social care, coupled with experience in a similar role, will be essential in delivering effective support plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent communication skills are paramount, as building trust and rapport with service users is critical to their rehabilitation journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Covering front of house taking referrals.
