Skilled Careers is working with a leading client in the social housing sector, we are looking for an experienced Plumber to join a team with a main contractor in the Oldham area on a permanent basis. If successful, you’ll be expected to carry out a range of repairs and maintenance tasks within occupied and void social housing properties and participate in an on-call rota to cover out of hour breakdowns.
Overview for the role:
- Location: Oldham
- Rate: £34,000 – £35,000 + Overtime/Out of Hours

Responsibilities of the Plumber:
- Plumbing & Multi-Skilled Repairs: Carry out a variety of plumbing and associated multi-trade tasks to a high standard, aiming to complete jobs in one visit
- Customer-Focused Work: Provide professional service with a focus on quality, safety, and maintaining tidy work areas
- Standards & Teamwork: Follow company procedures and values, support KPI delivery, use PPE and systems responsibly, and complete all required documentation
Requirements for Plumber role:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating
- Valid CSCS Card
- Social Housing Experience
- Full UK Driving License
- Multi-Trade skills are a bonus
