A unique and rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the Glasgow Criminal Justice Service, working within Barlinnie Prison . This is a minimum three-month contract offering a competitive hourly rate, flexible locum schedule, and the chance to make a real difference in a challenging and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver social work services within a Criminal Justice setting. Complete LSCMI assessments and develop risk management plans. Prepare court reports to inform sentencing decisions. Manage a complex caseload , including offenders subject to supervision. Essential Requirements: Degree in Social Work (or equivalent). Registered with the SSSC (Social Worker part of the Register). LSCMI training (preferred). Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
