We’re looking for a Manager of HR Compliance and Employee Relations to join the People Team!

What you’ll do:

  • Define, design and deliver global HR compliance solutions in response to regulatory obligations in the EMEA region.
  • Provide consultation, coaching and education on HR compliance best practices to managers, team members and HR in our EMEA region.
  • Develop communication plans to participate in and lead responses to internal and external audits and enforcement actions relating to HR policies and practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, conduct research and partner closely with Compliance and legal teams to proactively monitor emerging statutory and regulatory changes.
  • Identify current and emerging risks and prepare risk mitigation and implementation plans in partnership with key stakeholders and COEs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with works councils, trade unions and disciplinary tribunals.
  • Knowledgeable about global HR requirements and in-market regulations that impact the People team, including work time, overtime, time off policies and disciplinary requirements.
  • Experience working in a multinational company.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to ensure compliance while also maintaining company culture.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional team skills, with demonstrated ability to partner, build strong relationships, and influence and communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to travel.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Substantial professional experience in HR Compliance or employment law, with proven and demonstrable experience in the international space.
  • Solid understanding of relevant global employment laws.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Masters/PHR or a LLB/JD.
