I am recruiting for an experienced Shop and Post office Supervisor to join a well-known and respected British Charity based in Southwest London. I have been recruiting for this historic and iconic organisation for several years and they are thought of and respected so highly, they are a pleasure to work with and work for. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the day to day running of the Post Office and to supervise the running of the onsite & online shop. The role involves driving 5*customer service, sales and visual merchandising, overseeing team management & of the online shop in the absence of the Retail Manager. Tasks this role will also include: Ensure the shop and Post Office counters are sufficiently staffed during opening times. Be responsible & supervise the Retail Assistant, ensuring consistency of approach in delivering high standards of customer service. Support team training on operational procedures for using the till for retail sales and booking tours and events. Ensure any discrepancies in cash or card payments are investigated promptly.
