You will be joining the Accounting Tribe/Domain within Deutsche Bank's Global Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) group. Our domain is responsible for T+1 Product Control and providing the necessary information to the General Ledger from Transaction and Hedge Accounting. We are working to create simplified, reusable, consumable applications, data and infrastructure. All underpinned by our strategic partnership with Google and commitment to Cloud.

Your key responsibilities:
- Java application development in an Agile Collaborative environment while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to development & testing.
- Design, develop and document microservice-based & Cloud-native application components in accordance with requirements specification.
- Guide teams, write clear, maintainable, and reusable code and take part in code reviews to ensure that features are developed at high quality standards.
- Partner with the UI/UX design team, architects, business analysts and stakeholders situated in multiple regions and time-zones to understand requirements, designing, developing, and delivering applications for mission-critical systems.
- Co-working on test automation of new and existing functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers to participate and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions and specifications.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience with all Agile software development frameworks and processes, and software design.
- Experience with Java, Python, Spring-boot, PostgreSQL and Big Query concepts, OpenAPI, Google Cloud Platform (or any other Cloud Platform), SQL.
- Understanding of design concepts and should possess strong knowledge on Domain Driven Design and Hexagonal Architecture.
- Experience in messaging technologies. Having knowledge in any of these: Kafka, Pub/Sub, MQ; would be an added advantage.
- Must have advanced skills & experience working with high volumes of data & comfortable making design decisions keeping performance in mind.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) practice.
