Position Overview

Based in London, this role is highly visible and functions as a liaison between key stakeholders across Customer Intelligence (CIX), Marketing, IT, and Global Analytics. It requires creativity and collaboration to facilitate the delivery and adoption of marketing technology enhancements and new capabilities that unlock insights and help the teams to achieve their strategic business goals. It also involves evangelizing effective and consistent use of marketing technology platforms and promoting better understanding of data-driven marketing practices among the Marketing teams.

A key focus of this role will be supporting the implementation of a new Customer Data Platform (CDP) solution. The analyst will play a crucial role collaborating with business and IT partners to ensure a successful implementation that optimizes the platform's capabilities and maximizes value for the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop strong partnerships with key business partners: Function as a liaison among CIX and Marketing teams to assist in documenting business use cases, identifying gaps in customer data management, and enhancement opportunities within the new CDP. Work with the business teams to identify projects and enhancements that align with Ralph Lauren's strategic objectives.
  • CDP Implementation: Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of the CDP with existing technology solutions and data sources. Assist in mapping data flows, defining data models, and establishing processes for data ingestion.
  • Encourage Data Confidence: Partner with CIX stakeholders and IT partners to ensure thorough and timely response to CDP-related questions, concerns and suggestions. Ensure data quality and consistency across various analytics and technology platforms and tools used within Ralph Lauren's DTC business.
  • Become a CDP and analytics evangelist: Be curious and knowledgeable about the CDP and related marketing technologies, and how to leverage them effectively. Promote the capabilities of the new CDP to business stakeholders and educate them in utilizing these capabilities to achieve business goals. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in CDP and marketing technologies to continually improve Ralph Lauren's data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Education and Experience: A emphasis in business, information technology, marketing, or related field is preferred. Work experience in data analytics, marketing technology, digital marketing, or related field strongly preferred. Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of large-scale projects or initiatives. Retail/Marketing Industry knowledge or familiarity with omnichannel retail analytics is a plus. Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) such as Zeta, Redpoint, or Salesforce is preferred. Familiarity with tools like Dataiku or Alteryx for data preparation and analysis. Knowledge using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for data analysis and visualization. Working with JIRA, Smartsheet or other issue and project tracking software is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills and Characteristics: Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, dynamic environment; able to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Ability to balance attention to detail with big-picture thinking to support Ralph Lauren's strategic objectives. Ability to interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels and roles within the company. Ability to communicate complex business and technical challenges in a simplified manner. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; able to gather, manipulate, and interpret data at a low level of detail and synthesize into actionable business insights.
