As a Scenario Exercising Manager in the newly created CoE for Scenario testing within the Chief Resilience and Controls Office, you will have the opportunity to help develop the function, as well as design, implement, and embed the Operational Continuity in Resolution Scenario Testing Programme in accordance with the Operational Risk and Resilience Policy and supporting Standards.

You will enable the business to identify, assess, and mitigate its major Operational Continuity in Resolution exposures through the implementation of Scenario Testing framework tools and methodologies. This role offers development across multiple disciplines with promotion opportunities.

The difference you’ll make

  • Create and maintain a programme of Operational Continuity in Resolution Scenario Exercising
  • Identify, assess, and report operational continuity in resolution & risk issues, acting to remediate or escalate potential issues
  • Engage with key stakeholders to mitigate Operational Continuity in Resolution exposures
  • Support the development of key outputs, including Board papers and supporting materials

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in financial stress testing, Operational Resilience, or Continuity in Resolution
  • Knowledge of Operational Resilience and Continuity in Resolution regulatory requirements

It would also be nice for you to have

  • Good interpersonal skills to persuade and influence others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience developing and implementing standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of FCA/PRA/BoE rules and guidance for Operational Resilience

What else you need to know

Interviews will be conducted via telephone or video conference where possible.

This role offers hybrid working, requiring attendance at team sessions in a local Santander office and at the nearest Head Office location for 40% of the week.
