About the Role

Matterport is looking for an SMB Account Executive who is enthusiastic and performance-driven to sell our products and services across several industries, including AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality. The ideal candidate is a hunter, who can be technical and is a seasoned sales professional. With a solid track record of success, the candidate must also be fluent in the latest market trends, comfortable working with technical content, and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek opportunities to sell Matterport products within SMB companies.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline for SaaS and Hardware sales.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline to meet quarterly quotas.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions using our product offerings.
  • Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for potential clients.
  • Deliver sales and technical presentations both online and onsite.
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools like SFDC, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo to discover leads and generate new business.
  • Grow and nurture existing accounts for SaaS upsell and hardware sales.
  • Re-engage potential or churned customers.
  • Participate in trade shows and product demonstrations.
  • Identify larger opportunities and coordinate with colleagues for long-term success.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-3 years of relevant sales experience, such as AE or BDR roles.
  • Proven success in sales, especially in technology sectors.
  • Experience with value-based selling, ROI, and MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Ability to develop compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills in team-selling environments.
  • Experience in real estate, insurance, restoration, construction, or travel industries is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and intermediate or fluent Spanish or Italian.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and remote.
