Position Overview

This role reports to the Head of External Communications – Process Automation . As the Social Media Channel and Content Manager for ABB\’s Process Automation division, you will develop and execute social media strategies to enhance online presence and establish ABB as a leader in automation, electrification, and digitalization. Your responsibilities include managing social media channels like LinkedIn and YouTube, creating content, running campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and exploring new platforms to maximize impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement social media content programs aligned with ABB\’s guidelines.
  2. Manage and optimize content on channels such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
  3. Assess and establish new social media platforms to broaden reach.
  4. Collaborate with digital marketing teams on technology and tools.
  5. Design, execute, and optimize social media campaigns, leveraging paid and organic tactics.
  6. Manage supplier relationships and budgets for social media initiatives.
  7. Train and guide team members on best practices for social media content creation and distribution.
  8. Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  9. Analyze social media performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  10. Implement SEO tactics to improve content visibility and search rankings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, social media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing social media, content creation, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent writing skills in English, with the ability to craft engaging content.
  • Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube, and their tools.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and both paid and organic strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and optimize campaigns.
  • Experience with SEO integration into social media strategies.
