Salary: Soulbury EIP 13-16 + 3 SPA Work base: Colwyn Bay/Various/Hybrid Conwy\’s Education Services are seeking experienced education practitioners to join the Education Improvement Service. The role involves supporting and ensuring the highest quality of education for all young people within Conwy schools. This full-time, permanent position aims to enhance the Education Improvement Service and ALN Service during a period of transformation and development. The service is committed to providing support and challenge to improve the attainment and experience of all of Conwy\’s Children Looked After in schools and settings. We welcome experienced, innovative, and solution-focused colleagues to join the Service. To succeed in this role, you should possess the skills and expertise to lead and support statutory and non-statutory aspects of education for Children Looked After, particularly in school standards, provision, and leadership in allocated settings. You will work under the direction of the Education Improvement Service Manager/ALN Service Manager. Additionally, you will lead the re-establishment of Conwy\’s virtual school, ensuring it operates to high standards based on evidence-based best practices and is sustainable for continuous improvement. Fluency in Welsh is desirable for this post. The position is paid on the Soulbury Education Improvement Professional scale. Applications are encouraged from experienced school leaders with a proven track record in managing education interventions to improve school performance, whether in a school setting or within a Local Authority or Regional Consortium.
