This full-time position is in the Systems Development Department of Kratos SRE and is a highly motivated and self-driven role that will focus on supporting next-generation security and hardware assurance technologies for FPGAs and ASICs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, integrate, and test hardware assurance technologies in FPGAs and ASICs.
- Run data collection exercises and acceptance testing of on-chip technologies.
- Provide quantitative data and well-documented reports on testing results and demonstrations.
- Troubleshoot issues using simulations and bench-top tests.
- Document block diagrams, schematics, and process flows.
- Perform independent critical thinking and creative problem solving for experimental systems.
- Maintain and document code and designs.
- Participate in proposal writing efforts.
- Provide support for design, integration, and testing efforts.
Required Experience:
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DOD/IC Security Clearance.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience with FPGAs with knowledge of Verilog/VHDL.
- Experience modeling and simulating analog and digital architectures.
- +2 years of ASIC development and design implementation and verification using Verilog/VHDL.
- Ability to read and create schematics.
- Experience with MATLAB or Python.
- Willing to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and able to perform independent work.
- Knowledge of hardware assurance technologies and techniques.
- Experience with stress testing FPGA and ASIC designs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
