With over 30 years of designing, manufacturing and retailing garden lifestyle products we are proud to be garden building specialists and distribute our products on our own fleet of vehicles to our customers.
We are currently looking for a Despatch Clerk.
Job Details:
It is essential that the successful person has experience in office administration as they will be required to update the despatch diaries, prepare delivery notes two days in advance and process balance payments via card net terminals. Other duties will include checking stock for orders both booked and not booked, answering incoming phone calls, liaising with other branches to swap stock around on transfer orders and liaising with other departments, drivers and suppliers when needed.
This job is based out of our recently-acquired Dudley site (Brierly Hill, DY5 1QA).
Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position will need to be flexible, well organised and able to cope under pressure, having excellent communication skills in order to liaise with customers over the phone to arrange delivery of goods. Good geographical knowledge is essential with the ability to plan economical delivery routes.
Work pattern:
* 40 hours a week
* Branch is open 07.30 – 17.30 on Monday – Friday
* 8 hours per day, shift timings to be discussed at interview
* Occasional Saturday working (with Time Off In Lieu or Overtime)

* 29 days holiday including Bank Holidays
Starting Salary: £26,000
