Proposals Lead Engineer - Burham

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Proposals Lead Engineer to strengthen their existing team.
This role is based in Burham.

Proposals Lead Engineer role:

• Ensure timely receipt of constructability input from delivery partners.
• Collaborate with the regional construction led to ensure appropriate and sufficient resources are available and deployed to projects.
• Oversee project activities across scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management within established thresholds, escalating issues to Regional Project Managers as needed.
• Ensure Health, Safety, and Wellbeing procedures meet or exceed established high standards.
• Engage with assigned stakeholders in line with the overall Communication Plan, covering design and construction activities, including permits, planning consents, and street works.

Proposals Lead Engineer requirements:

• Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or an HND in Civil Engineering complemented by vocational engineering training.
• Experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Agent.
• "Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary Design & Build (D&B) projects, including civil engineering and MEICA works.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and various forms of contract, gained through both experience and formal training.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of construction methods and industry best practices
• Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Primavera software)
• Relevant CSCS Card
• Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
