Job Details Position Summary: This position within the Legal Department requires a lawyer with strong legal skills capable of delivering business-oriented, effective, and efficient legal services, project management, and strategic counsel on significant business or corporate matters, or in a specialty practice area such as litigation, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, privacy law, health law, technology law, or employment and labor law. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Deliver effective legal services to clients. Handle legal projects, matters, and issues with minimal supervision, demonstrating technical legal expertise. Manage projects related to contracts or other client pursuits, demonstrating project management skills. Represent Cencora and client groups in business contracts and negotiations. Make business-oriented, legally compliant recommendations. Solve straightforward problems, analyze solutions, and assess options using standard procedures. Multi-task and prioritize effectively to ensure timely completion of work. Adapt to change and seek developmental opportunities. Experience & Educational Requirements: 4 to 8 years of legal experience with expertise in pharmaceutical law, contracts, and health law. Law Degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice. Ability to perform sophisticated legal work independently and supervise others. Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Ability Requirements: Knowledge of legal concepts, practices, and procedures, especially in pharmaceuticals and healthcare. Experience with UK and EU healthcare laws, regulations, and market access. Ability to lead negotiations, develop strategies, and manage outside counsel. Excellent communication, interpersonal, judgment, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
