Job Description:

This job involves:

1. ServiceNow development: Responsible for delivering complex technical solutions within the ServiceNow environment, ensuring the resulting outcomes meet the needs of the business.
2. ServiceNow platform support: Undertake operational activities including the resolution of platform-related incidents, version upgrades, housekeeping, and proactive maintenance.
3. Peer checking: Perform peer reviews of colleagues’ deliverables to ensure outcomes follow best practices and meet standards.
4. Stakeholder engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and agree on the definition of done.
5. Team planning and review: Participate in team DevOps ceremonies (sprint planning, show and tell, sprint review) providing valuable input.

Qualifications and experience:

1. Demonstrable experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, specifically with ITSM and ITOM modules, with a track record of designing and delivering technical solutions.
2. Familiarity with integrating external platforms/data into ServiceNow using best practices.
3. Experience with programming languages such as Java.
4. Preferably experienced with ServiceNow modules like HR, SecOps, CMDB, or Virtual Agent.
5. Experience using ServiceNow Catalog Builder and Flow Designer components.
6. Experience working within a DevOps environment, understanding related processes and controls.
7. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
