The Certara Predictive Technologies PBPK consultancy team is a global organization focused on using the Simcyp PBPK platform to influence decision-making on drug development programs from discovery to regulatory filing. Our PBPK consultants work with hundreds of clients to inform human PK prediction, drug-drug interaction assessment, special population predictions, and biopharmaceutics strategy.
We are seeking highly motivated PBPK modelling scientists and experts with a background in DMPK, PBPK, or biopharmaceutics modelling who are passionate about using PBPK models to impact drug discovery and development questions. The successful candidate will join an internationally recognized, multidisciplinary company, providing opportunities for further development of knowledge and skills. We offer a unique environment that encourages attendance at scientific meetings as part of our continuous education programs. This role does not include routine laboratory or clinical work.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to consultancy projects developing PBPK models for clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Apply PBPK models in support of applications such as DDI liability prediction, food effect prediction, PK prediction in special populations, biopharmaceutics/bioequivalence prediction, and large molecule PK prediction.
- Contribute to consultancy projects with supervision.
- Stay updated on scientific developments in PBPK and IVIVE to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the scientific community.
Qualifications
- A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience in IVIVE/drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics.
- Knowledge of PBPK modelling in drug discovery and development.
- Understanding of IVIVE/drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics.
- Good knowledge of PBPK simulators and specific areas.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with peers and clients across industry, academia, and regulatory agencies.
