Vice President / Director – Credit Analysis (Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking Department) Join to apply for the Vice President / Director – Credit Analysis (Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking Department) role at MUFG Overview of the Role MUFG is seeking a Vice President / Director in Credit Analysis within the Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking Department in London. The successful candidate will manage a team of 2-3 junior analysts, contribute to credit analysis workflows, and support credit transactions for Japanese corporates in the UK, Ireland, and EMEA regions. Main Responsibilities Lead credit and borrower rating applications, ensuring high-quality analysis and timely submissions. Support credit transactions, collaborate with RMs and other offices, and develop technical skills. Train and supervise junior analysts, manage team activities, and report to senior management. Requirements Experience in credit analysis, preferably in a front office role and in a Japanese commercial bank. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial report analysis, and MUFG credit processes. Relevant qualifications such as CFA or accounting degrees are advantageous.
