The successful candidate will join the Private Equity team of the Corporate group, focusing on Private Equity transactions and working with portfolio companies owned by Private Equity Sponsors in the UK, Europe, and globally. They are looking for one individual with 1-2 years' relevant post-qualification experience in the London market or a similar common law jurisdiction (candidates with less or more experience will be considered based on merit).
Job Requirements
- The successful candidate will have solid private equity experience and exposure to the private equity team during their training contract.
- Experience with NDAs, engagement letters, disclosure letters, diligence reports, and ancillary documents is expected.
- The role will also focus on bolt-on M&A, sale of companies owned by private equity sponsors at the end of the holding period (including auction sales, vendor due diligence, and transaction documents), implementing management incentive plans in Europe and elsewhere, and coordinating leaver/joiner processes.
- The candidate should be flexible, personable, and adept at building relationships with client teams at both financial sponsors and portfolio companies.
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills are required, along with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
- The role demands taking on significant responsibility and managing a challenging workload within a fast-paced, friendly environment.
- A strong academic record is essential.
