A private equity backed SaaS company within the healthcare sector is looking for an experienced Interim CTO to lead technology strategy, oversee engineering operations, and support the business through a critical phase of transformation. The successful candidate will be a seasoned interim CTO with a strong technical background and experience navigating private equity transactions and M&A due diligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure efficient product maintenance and iterative improvement.
- Oversee the technical roadmap and ensure the SaaS platform is scalable, secure, and high performing.
- Play a key role in private equity engagements and M&A due diligence processes.
- Ensure implementation of best practices across all technology teams.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between business units.
- Manage budgets and oversee technology spend.
- Act as a senior technology advisor to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Drive innovation and operational efficiency at scale.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience as a technical CTO.
- Proven track record working with PE-backed businesses.
- Industry experience within SaaS in an agile environment.
- Experience with pre- and post-deal M&A, including due diligence.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
