Account Manager role, HYBRID ROLE, global branded hotel group, combination of over 500 bedrooms & large M&E space. This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you would work from the hotels some days with the option to work remotely.
- Upto £47,000 per annum along with annual bonus scheme & mileage paid for commuting.

Job Summary
You will manage a portfolio of accounts and generate new business from within your geographical area and have specific responsibility to support two hotels within your region. The focus will also be to work collaboratively with colleagues to drive opportunities across our hotels in other UK & Ireland locations. There will be a focus on MICE with this role.
Sales Activities
- Support and drive the hotels commercial action plan
- Create strong awareness of the hotel and brand within the local marketplace
- To have a sound understanding of competitor rates and local market intelligence
- To proactively carry out sales researching and cold calling to the local marketplace to identify new leads
- To successfully account manage and conduct quarterly and annual reviews with local corporate accounts
- To work closely with the commercial office team to understanding business performance and booking patterns
- Follow up sales leads efficiently and update sales lead trackers
- Support with monthly and quarterly commercial meetings
- Actively seek, identify, secure and contract new and repeat business for all market segments; in particular corporate and conference markets
- To develop beneficial affiliations and partnerships within the local area
- Log activities and contacts into internal hotel systems
- Work with the key hotel team members to strengthen current relationships within the local community
- Establish long standing relationships with key clients offering a high level of customer service
- To support and attend networking events and exhibitions inhouse, locally and nationally
- To make appointment and site visits
- To liaise with all operational departments to ensure smooth running of events and key bookings
- Contribute to sales conversion days and promote a fun and sales driven environment
- To carry out proactive sales activities including sales calls to the local and national market, corporate clients entertaining, meet and greets, guest drinks, VIP welcomes, and FAM trip entertaining
