Job Summary:

Media Distribution is a dynamic division of TWDC responsible for the Business to Business (B2B) distribution of Disney+, network channels, and the full slate of movies and TV content produced by The Walt Disney Company.

Transactional Distribution is a key team within Media Distribution responsible for digital distribution of Disney\’s movies and TV content across various platforms including Disney, Fox, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, ABC Studios, Fox Studios, FX, and National Geographic.

The team collaborates with digital stores like Amazon, Sky, and Apple across EMEA to distribute content via ownership and rental models (e.g., EHVL/EST, TVOD).

The Supervisor, Digital Stores Management (DSM), plays a crucial role in expanding Disney\’s digital transactional business across key third-party digital stores and online retailers in UK, GSA, Iberia, CEE & Africa, and MENA, covering both ownership and rental models. This role involves working closely with the wider stores management team to support partners and drive digital content sales. Based in London, the role covers global retailers such as Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Rakuten, with key responsibilities including:

  • Supporting the creation and supervision of film & TV catalogue promotions for the region.
  • Driving product projects like bonus features & bundles across territories.
  • Managing TV release scheduling for UK & Germany.
  • Supporting account managers on global accounts to ensure systems are current.
  • Performing performance analysis for releases and catalogue activities, with recommendations.
  • Managing relationships with digital stores across the region.
  • Supervising coordinators and interns to ensure smooth workstreams and project updates.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

Digital Stores Management

Assist in creating, coordinating, and executing catalogue promotions across UK, GSA, Iberia, CEE, Africa, and MENA, including:

  • Understanding annual promotional objectives and internal processes.
  • Leading editorial efforts for promotions, supervising submissions.
  • Analyzing promotion outcomes for future strategies.
  • Coordinating activities and promotion plans for review.
  • Managing TV release schedules and promotional activities for UK & Germany.

Coordinate product projects like bonus features & bundles, including:

  • Delivering content strategies with regional/global teams.
  • Communicating bundle strategies to partners and tracking release plans.
  • Advising on usage and release dates for bonus content.

Support account managers with daily business operations, ensuring systems are updated, and responding to queries.

  • Supervising updates of release dates and pricing.
  • Supporting ad hoc requests from the DSM team.

Assist with performance analysis for new releases and catalogue activity, providing insights and forecasts.

  • Ensuring timely analysis and recommendations.
  • Creating release summaries with accurate data.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience in international film and TV distribution or related fields.
  • Skills in content planning, reporting, and digital platforms.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Highly organized with strong IT, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • This is an office-based role in Hammersmith, London, with 1 day remote work (Monday or Friday).
