Job Description:

Gen Tech Recruitment is partnering with a client based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne to recruit a Contracts Manager. The role involves managing project delivery teams, liaising with clients, overseeing project specifications, procurement, and team performance to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing project delivery teams.
• Communicating regularly with clients and on-site teams.
• Ensuring project specifications, drawings, and orders are in place.
• Procurement of plant and equipment.
• Forecasting project spend and resource requirements.
• Reviewing and assisting with commercial evaluations and claims.
• Monitoring project performance and reporting.
• Preparing O&M manuals and as-built drawings upon project completion.

Essential qualifications and skills:

• Previous management experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Management experience delivering projects from £3m to £10m.
