Relatives for Justice is seeking a Complementary Therapy Programme Co-ordinator based in Reading, United Kingdom . This is a permanent position funded by Victims & Survivors Services, offering a salary of £26,692 per annum for a 30-hour workweek .

Job Overview

The role involves coordinating and delivering complementary therapies across RFJs support centres and online, aimed at victims and survivors of conflict. The coordinator will promote healthy lifestyles and coping mechanisms, deliver training and supervision to sessional therapists, and ensure professional standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Complementary Therapy Services for RFJ members.
  • Procure and supervise therapists delivering therapies.
  • Ensure governance, data protection, and safe, welcoming environments.
  • Review and implement practice policies for face-to-face and online clinics.
  • Maintain data systems such as MYMOPS and Salesforce.
  • Develop referral systems and liaise with staff and external partners.
  • Prepare reports and monitor program compliance and effectiveness.
  • Create informational materials and maintain records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant qualification in complementary therapy with at least 3 years of trauma victim service delivery experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management in a community setting.
  • Understanding of Ireland\’s conflict legacy and transitional justice models.
  • Knowledge of trauma\’s somatic impacts and holistic support approaches.
  • 5+ years experience in research, reporting, and submissions.
  • Experience with CRM systems like MYMOP, CORE, etc.
  • Knowledge of NGO governance and professional therapeutic standards.
  • Understanding of gender harms related to conflict and gender-sensitive approaches.
  • CPD evidence in trauma.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Full driver\’s license or ability to travel.
