Senior Project Manager - Transmission & Distribution

Job Title: Senior Transmission and Distribution Engineer

Due to an expanding project portfolio, we are seeking a Senior Transmission and Distribution Engineer to join our team. Your role will focus on leadership and support across various multi-disciplinary projects, including:

1. Leading and collaborating with high-performing project teams.
2. Managing development of transmission projects, including pursuits and proposals.
3. Building and maintaining client relationships through successful project delivery.
4. Mentoring junior to mid-level project managers.
5. Possessing experience as an Owner Engineer, Independent Certifier, or Lender Technical Advisor.
6. Participating in the pursuit, development, and delivery of current and future transmission projects.
7. Maintaining industry networks and relationships to meet business and client needs.
8. Establishing project scope, schedule, and budget, and coaching others in managing project demands.

Technical Expertise Required:

• Substation design (Primary systems), Protection and Control (Secondary Systems), Power System Modelling, Commissioning
• SCADA, Earthing, Transmission Line Design, CAD modelling for substations
• Qualified electrical engineer with at least 15 years of experience in transmission, utilities, renewable energy, or similar fields.
• Strong networking and business development skills.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects in consulting, utilities, or contracting environments.
• Experience with EHV, HV, and LV electrical engineering from conceptual to detailed design.
• Testing, commissioning, FAT witnessing, and failure investigation.
• Client-facing experience with clear communication of project status, issues, and risks.
