Opportunity for a Pre Construction Manager with Design & Build experience to join a multimillion pound Tier 1 Fit Out contractor and their fast growing team.
About the role:
You will be working for a reputable, multi million pound Tier 1 Fit Out contractor, based in Central London, on their Design & Build team, currently consisting of 25 people and still growing. The business has a goal of £300m for 2025, with the Design & Build team alone, set to do £30m in turnover this year, with this also growing each year.
We are looking for someone who has Pre Construction experience, experience managing a team and able to handle a busy workload, however the candidate does NOT need to have a specific background prior to being in Pre Construction.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project execution strategies, timelines & budgets
- Work with clients to define project goals & ensure alignment
- Work with the Estimators & Quantity Surveyors to assess cost implications of design choices
- Lead the preparation of tender documentation for subcontractors & suppliers
- Evaluate bids & negotiate with subcontractors
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients during pre-construction
- Manage expectations & maintain strong relationships
- Lead the Pre-Construction team
- Assign tasks & monitor performance
- Mentor junior staff & foster a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil engineering, Architecture, Quantity surveying, or a related field
- 15+ years experience in Construction
- Proven experience in Design & Build projects
- Strong leadership & team management capabilities
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills to manage client relationships & liaise with stakeholders
- Strong problem solving skills & a proactive mindset
