For the successful Head of Social Media, our client is offering: Starting salary of £45,000 – £50,000 (DOE) Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, 37.5 hours per week Permanent contract 22 days holiday rising 1 day per year (up to 25 days) Paid Bank Holidays Enhanced company pension scheme Enhanced maternity & paternity packages Discounted personal holidays and staff travel concessions Learning & development funding Friendly working environment with regular company social events Access to Life Insurance, Eye Care vouchers, EAP, and Employee Discounts Platform The Role – Head Of Social Media Lead the overall social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms Create and manage the social content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging output aligned to brand tone Produce and publish platform-native content, including short-form video, stories, and reels Oversee community management, including DMs, comments, and audience engagement Drive both organic and paid social performance, leveraging platform algorithms and trends Manage influencer and creator partnerships, from outreach and briefing to performance tracking Analyse and report on key metrics, including reach, engagement, growth, and conversions Collaborate with internal and external creative teams and paid media agencies to align content and campaign strategy Mentor and line-manage Social Media Executives and champion the social function internally Support wider business and marketing goals through integrated social campaigns What our client is looking for in a Head of Social Media: Proven experience in a senior social media role – ESSENTIAL Proven success in growing brand presence and running effective influencer campaigns – ESSENTIAL Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook algorithms – ESSENTIAL Skilled in community building, content creation, and copywriting – ESSENTIAL Proficiency with tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager – DESIRABLE Strong grasp of paid social strategy and experience with performance reporting – DESIRABLE Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Key Skills Or Similar Job Titles Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Content Manager, Head of Digital, Marketing Manager, Social Strategy Lead Commutable From Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Northwich, Runcorn, Wirral For further information about this and other positions, please apply now.
