Rascal is on the lookout for a talented Midweight Compositor to join our growing team in London. We’re a proudly independent VFX studio, known for crafting beautiful, bold work across commercials, music videos, and branded content. Our ideal candidate is someone who’s hungry to grow, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can confidently take on shots from concept through to final comp.
What you’ll be doing:
- Compositing high-end VFX shots for a variety of projects using Nuke
- Working closely with our VFX supervisors and artists to deliver polished, creative work
- Taking ownership of your shots while collaborating across departments
- Troubleshooting technical issues and helping find smart, efficient solutions
- Maintaining the Rascal standard of detail, quality, and storytelling
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a compositor in a VFX studio
- Strong proficiency in Nuke
- A good eye for detail, colour, and photo-realism
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Must be based in London and able to work on-site; remote working is offered when applicable
- Experience in Flame, After Effects, or Maya/Blender
- Previous work on commercials or short-form content
