Reliability Engineer – Plymouth, MN – Hybrid Make your mark at the world\’s largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reliability Engineer II to join our rapidly growing organization. This role will r esearch, plan, develop, design, and conduct reliability tests on HVAC&R components, products, and systems by performing the duties listed below. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN What you will do: Lead the FMEA process and provide design support by identifying design weaknesses Identify key reliability benchmarking, goal setting, and testing associated with DAA products Develop and implement reliability improvement plan for components/systems associated with DAA products Deliver significant reliability improvements as measured by engineering, manufacturing, and service, and project the total life cycle costs of predicted reliability through the life of the parts Conduct physics based reliability calculations with qualification tests to validate calculations/predictions Establish reliability procedures and tests Identify product failure modes and defects Drive system and subsystem assessments and predictions during design Make design recommendations to improve reliability and resolve conflicting requirements Conduct specification of associated test equipment What\’s in it for you: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in engineering, (Mechanical or Electrical) or related technical field 2 to 10 years of experience in product reliability Experience with mechanical testing reliability testing Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications: Master\’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Experience with Reliability Software Experience with assessments and qualification of component / system and product reliability (DFMEA and PFMEA) People Leadership experience Experience with HVAC systems Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $104,700 – $133,200 in Minnesota.
