We have an amazing opportunity for an established Senior 3D Artist/Motion Designer to join our Move Studio, the in-house production team at TMW Unlimited, made up of editors, photographers, animators, and producers. Together, we create ideas that move people with award-winning visual storytelling.
You will have exceptional creative and technical ability, a passion for design and animation, and the experience to lead high-quality projects from pitch to delivery. You'll play a key role in delivering standout motion and 3D work across a wide range of branded content — from broadcast to digital activations and social-first creative.
As a Senior 3D Artist / Motion Designer, you'll bring passion and enthusiasm to all things motion design and animation, as well as being someone who is highly collaborative with our internal teams. Ideally, you will have significant experience in a similar Senior 3D/Motion design role within a creative agency, production studio or post house, with a standout portfolio/showreel.
Expert knowledge of Cinema 4D and a deep understanding of rendering pipelines using Redshift, V-Ray and Octane. Working knowledge of Unreal Engine is a strong advantage. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro.
The Day to Day...
- Collaborate closely with our creatives and producers, contributing to concept development, visual exploration, and high-end production.
- Own projects end-to-end, mentor junior creatives, and help push the creative and technical output of Move Studio to new levels.
- Translate design concepts and storyboards to create high-end motion graphics and edits. Projects can involve creating all assets from scratch and developing a new style or bringing a storyboard to life.
- Lead and execute high-end 3D and motion design work across multiple brands and formats.
- Take projects from concept to final render — including modelling, texturing, lighting, animating and compositing.
- Contribute to pitches, treatments, and early-stage concept development with compelling motion design thinking.
- Stay on top of trends in animation, 3D design, and production workflows — with a curiosity for emerging tech like real-time and virtual production.
Requirements
Who will you be?
- Significant experience in a similar Senior 3D/Motion design role within a creative agency, production studio or post house.
- Expert knowledge of Cinema 4D and a deep understanding of rendering pipelines using Redshift, V-Ray and Octane.
- Working knowledge of Unreal Engine is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- An exceptional eye for composition, lighting, motion, and storytelling.
- Strong animation fundamentals and the ability to work across styles and formats.
- Experience with industry standard plugins.
- Experience with typography, layout, illustration, sound design is a plus.
- Ability to lead and contribute in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- You will have the confidence to present your work to your colleagues and talk through your approach and thinking.
- You will have the ability to work within a set budget and deadlines and find ways of solving problems.
