The firm is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused probate executive or paralegal to support the team in managing a busy caseload of probate matters.
You will be joining a collaborative and friendly private client team with access to ongoing support, professional development, and clear opportunities for career progression. This role offers you the chance to handle a varied caseload of probate files from start to finish, working alongside experienced colleagues and gaining exposure to more complex matters as you grow within the role.
You’ll play a key part in the client journey, helping families through what is often a difficult time with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Full case management of probate files
- Preparation and submission of applications for grants of probate
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties
- Drafting estate accounts and associated documentation
- Assisting with estate administration from instruction to distribution
- Supporting senior fee earners on complex estate matters
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and legal regulations
About You:
- Ideally 2+ years' experience working in a private client or probate role
- Strong understanding of probate processes and estate administration
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Able to manage files independently with minimal supervision
- Motivated, organised and keen to develop professionally
