Internal Auditor – Hospitality – £48,000 A highly successful and rapidly growing hospitality business are looking for a meticulous and experienced Internal Auditor with a background in hospitality to join their team. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance of their portfolio. The ideal candidate will assist the Group Internal Audit Manager to conduct audits, assess internal controls, and contribute to best practices in risk management, ensuring they maintain the highest standards of accountability and service. Key responsibilities of this Internal Auditor role will include: Assisting in the planning and execution of financial, operational, and compliance audits across the portfolio Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and risk management practices. Document audit findings, prepare reports with recommendations, to be shared these with senior management and Ownership. Monitor adherence to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with teams to understand operations and foster an environment of continuous improvement. Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and measure their outcomes. Assist in conducting investigations into allegations of fraud or misconduct. Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required, such as investigations or fraud assessments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. You will be a certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or have completed your Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). You will have a strong grasp of auditing standards and internal control frameworks as well as excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. The salary on offer for this role is up to £48,000 plus benefits.
