We're seeking a Private Client Solicitor to take on a prominent role within a well-established and high-performing private client department. This position offers real autonomy, a varied and stimulating caseload and the support of a friendly, collaborative team. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be a key member of the team who will handle a broad range of private client matters, delivering exceptional service with a personal touch. You will play a crucial role in providing a service to clients, focusing on wills, trusts, estates and tax issues.
Responsibilities
- Advise on estate planning and care fee strategies
- Draft Wills and provide tailored will-writing services
- Manage matters relating to Lasting Powers of Attorney and the Court of Protection
- Administer trusts, probate and the full process of estate administration
- Advise on inheritance tax planning and associated investment considerations
Requirements
- Solid background in private client law
- Ability to manage your own caseload independently
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive mindset and a natural flair for client care
- While a STEP qualification is advantageous, it is not essential - the firm actively supports ongoing study and welcomes applicants currently undertaking STEP training.
