An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic procurement leader to join a high-performing team within a well-established FMCG organisation, currently undergoing a transformative shift in how procurement operates and delivers value.
This is a headline role within a newly elevated procurement function designed to lead best-in-class delivery across a complex £600m+ FM and Construction spend portfolio. Leading a team of 10+ procurement professionals, the successful candidate will drive innovation, shape strategic supplier relationships, and ensure commercial excellence across both hard and soft FM, capital projects, and property services.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and deliver the FM & Construction procurement strategy, aligned to broader transformation goals
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 10+ procurement professionals across categories
- Influence senior stakeholders across operations, property, finance, and ESG functions
- Drive best practice procurement processes, governance, and supplier innovation
- Lead on major negotiations and supplier partnerships within a £600m+ spend portfolio
- Collaborate with internal transformation leads to embed procurement’s role as a strategic enabler
- Proven track record leading FM and/or Construction procurement functions in complex, multi-site businesses
- Deep commercial and contractual expertise, ideally including JCT/NEC and capital programme delivery
- Strong leadership and people development capabilities
- Able to thrive in change environments and influence at C-suite level
- Passionate about procurement transformation and delivering tangible impact
