Role Overview
We are hiring a Workplace Experience Manager for our London office. This role involves managing daily office operations and collaborating with global Workplace Experience Managers to ensure a thoughtful and welcoming environment for all Whatnauts.
Responsibilities
- Office Operations
- Oversee daily needs: supplies, mail, deliveries, food/beverages, and maintenance
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure high service standards
- Maintain organized, clean, and stocked common areas
- Address facility issues promptly, partnering with building management
- Guest and Employee Experience
- Serve as the first contact for visitors, candidates, and team members
- Create a welcoming, professional atmosphere reflecting our values
- Coordinate logistics for team days, offsites, and in-office events
- Onboarding Support
- Handle first-day logistics: work checks, desk setup, tours, badges
- Coordinate with IT and People teams for smooth onboarding
- Help new hires feel welcomed and prepared
- Administrative Support
- Provide support to local leadership: calendar, meetings, travel, scheduling
- Assist leaders in staying organized and focused
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in office management or similar role
- Self-starter with high attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- People-oriented with hosting skills and a welcoming demeanor
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Interest in developing as an executive business partner
Location & Compensation
Applicants should be within commuting distance of our London hub. The role is office-based. Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year, plus benefits and equity. Final salary depends on experience and skills.
