About the role
The Corporate Tax Compliance and Advisory management role is part of our Corporate Tax team, a leading provider of technology-enabled tax compliance and integrated advisory services for prestigious clients. A career in this team offers the opportunity to help clients meet tax obligations while managing tax impacts. You will advise on local and international tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant on diverse tax issues. Our agile team embraces new working methods and invests in automation and robotics, driving innovation and excellence. We operate across multiple UK locations, collaborating closely with overseas networks to deliver outstanding client experiences.
What your days will look like
You will work alongside our dedicated Compliance Services specialist team, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Our clients range from multinationals to smaller mid-tier companies across a wide range of industry sectors, providing you with opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge and specialise in particular industries or technical areas.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Advising large corporate clients on UK and international tax matters, sustaining long-term client relationships and managing and building new business through referrals, networking, and identifying client opportunities.
- Working collaboratively in managing our clients' compliance obligations, including corporate tax return submissions and tax accounting and reporting requirements.
- Leading and developing teams and colleagues.
- Collaboratively and creatively solving complex issues for our clients.
This role is for you if
- You possess a tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA, CA, ACCA or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience.
- You have previous advisory experience with UK and international large corporate tax clients.
- You hold strong UK corporate tax knowledge including the ability to review UK tax computations and tax accounting and group reporting calculations and disclosures for accuracy, completeness, and to identify broader opportunities and risks for the client.
- Your experience includes sound accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret statutory accounts.
- You have leadership experience with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, including building and maintaining relationships within large teams.
- You have business development experience through referrals, networking, and identifying client opportunities.
- You can demonstrate a strong understanding of broader UK and global business issues, and confidence in discussing these with clients.
