Are you currently working at an insurer, MGA, or broking house with an in-house underwriting facility for Terrorism?

This is an unusual opportunity to join a Lloyd\’s syndicate in the terrorism division, overseeing all underwriting activities carried out via various facilities across MGAs and broking houses throughout the UK. The role offers the opportunity to underwrite, manage delegated facilities, and develop new business opportunities within the London and regional markets.

A good understanding of delegated underwriting is required. You could be an Assistant Underwriter with underwriting authority or an Account Handler/Executive at a broker with pen authority. A sound understanding of wordings and coverages, along with the ability to handle a volumetric/transactional portfolio, is essential.

This role is part of a broader global terrorism portfolio. While there will be exposure to the Lloyd\’s platform, the majority of responsibilities will focus on the UK book.
