A bit about the job: We operate a flexible resource pool across our General Insurance portfolio, and therefore you could be involved in driving the following types of large-scale transformation activity:
- Major platform upgrades and SaaS adoption
- M&A and technology integration
- Technology innovation, harnessing GenAI, Automation and data
- Enhancing pricing strategies and broker solutions through digital technology
The position holder will have the ability to monitor and report on project progress and adherence to project plans, manage changes to the project scope, schedule and project costs using appropriate governance, whilst ensuring accurate project documentation control.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience and knowledge of wholesale and/or subscription based insurance, and associated London specialty insurance terminology and lines of business
- Experience leading complex technology and business change with annual budgets up to £5mn.
- Broad experience/knowledge of London Market key enterprise technologies and standards. For example Xchanging/Bureau, ACORD standards, CDR, partnered ideally with experience of emerging technologies such as GenAI, Automation and Digital and Data solutions.
- Identifying and handling a broad spectrum of stakeholders across the business and technology teams.
- Experience working with third-party suppliers, including delivery management.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
