The opportunity
The Wholesale Banking and Capital Markets (WBCM) team brings together industry expertise and strong execution experience to help clients develop and execute capital markets transformation agendas. We foster a collaborative environment focused on personal growth, learning, and mutual support.
As a Manager, you will lead engagements to solve key business challenges, define and execute change initiatives across various agendas such as cost transformation, process re-engineering, risk management, regulatory change, digital strategy, and organizational restructuring. You will play a pivotal role in a growing team working with prominent clients in the Capital Markets industry.
Your key responsibilities
Lead client delivery teams in designing, developing, and implementing strategic and operational initiatives. Manage large-scale projects, assess and mitigate risks, and review team outputs. Support business development and go-to-market initiatives to enhance capabilities and services.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial services consulting or similar transformation initiatives
- Proven project management skills and ability to lead teams under tight deadlines
- Expertise in capital markets processes such as client onboarding, front-office digitization, trade validation, settlement, and transaction reporting
- Deep understanding of settlement flows and post-trade processes, with a focus on post-trade optimization
- Experience in transformation areas like operating models, process re-engineering, regulatory compliance, risk, digital strategy, and technology-enabled change
- Knowledge of financial products and industries including derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, investment banking, and asset management
- Structured thinking, curiosity, and a passion for learning
Preferred skills
- Insights into process inefficiencies and organizational performance improvements in Capital Markets
- Experience in client needs assessment and service development
- Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable in ambiguous environments
- Ability to build relationships with clients at all levels, including C-suite
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
