The role holder is responsible for leading and supporting the financial planning and analysis of the Provinces Operating Area, including timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasts.
The preparation of management reporting and presentations, along with support on ad hoc tasks/projects. The role holder shall carry out duties in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.
Typical Daily Activities
- Support the business in delivering operational initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of actual results, trends, and business KPIs.
- Provide insights on opportunities and risks affecting the Operating Area’s performance.
- Assist management with internal and external presentations and ad hoc requests.
- Advise on current and future company performance.
- Conduct backlog reviews with the Operating Area.
- Identify key drivers and initiatives for the annual plan.
- Perform driver-based annual budgeting at the Operating Territory Level.
- Set and agree on KPI targets based on regional guidelines.
- Prepare management reports on annual plans and budgets.
- Review actual performance, identify variances, and analyze root causes.
- Assess if deviations are likely to persist and evaluate near- and mid-term outlooks.
- Review forecast inputs, conduct ad hoc analysis, and finalize forecasts.
- Prepare monthly forecast management reports.
- Handle other UKN local reporting and analysis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Relevant certification such as CIMA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial business partnering within a construction/engineering organization.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
