The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Location: This is a Hybrid Working role with a requirement to attend your closest geographical office - London, Chesterfield, or Glasgow.

About the role:

As Project Management Officer within the Transformation Office, you will provide support on all aspects of programme and project delivery. In doing so you will be confident, organised, and an experienced PMO with a keen eye for detail. You will monitor plans, deliverables, progress, review finances, holding suppliers and workstream leads to account when necessary. Working closely with the programme/project manager teams, you will ensure consistent, robust, and effective project/programme governance controls and reporting to centrally defined standards. You will have a proven record of reporting at executive level, experience of preparation and quality assurance of materials ahead of regular meetings and reporting cadence. Experience of identifying and monitoring progress on Risks, Issues and Dependencies; supporting effective decision making. Timely maintenance and management of the RAID log - actions, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, etc. Ability to understand the project and deliverables, reviewing content, challenging (time/cost/quality paradigm) and validating content, etc. Plan reviews/updates.

About You:

To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience working within a project governance/PMO role.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects/programmes simultaneously.
  • Ability to review and recommend process improvements, governance refinement, etc.
  • Proactive and effective communication, both verbal and written; evidence of good collaboration, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Financial tracking and raising of requisitions, purchase orders, supplier quotes and monthly reporting.
  • Previous experience in a large-scale transformation is desirable.
  • Experience of the full Microsoft 365 suite, MS Project desirable.
  • Experience with Confluence/Jira/Planview is desirable.
  • Project Management experience useful but not essential.
